Chavez show every night
El presidente, Mr Chavez is on television every night (almost). He rants for hours about the Revolution, that Venezuela is to create a new socialism, do away with individualism and capitalism, and actually create a new human being. Yesterday he even sang a capella for several minutes. Lily complains and demands to see the childrens channel. I tell her this IS a childrens program. The chubby geezer in the red shirt is telling fairy tales.

I hear you about Chavez interrupting everything - poor Charles has been much annoyed by interruptions to the all-important baseball! ;-)
We´re in the historical city of Ciudad Bolivar now and are surrounded by both historical and government buildings and have just about gotten our fill of the great leader. I´m glad to hear that Lily has been able to see him for what he is - boring...the same things over and over.
Well, I hope you´re all enjoying your fun in the sun with nice clean air to breath - I certainly cannot say the same about the interior and Rio Orinoco.
We´re off to Ciudad Guyana tomorrow for two days and then on down to Santa Elena and the Gran Sabana!

Vilket kul inlägg. Det där med Chavez som berättar sagor. Efter att ha kollat in El presidente på Youtube så ställer jag följande diagnos. 3/4 delar ADHD och en del megalomani.
